This 19th Century French powder and mirror compact is in fantastic condition. The lid is absolutely stunning with a very unique and intricate design. From the red guilloche medallion and pretty prong set turquoise stones, to the tiny detailed enameling that's done in green and red, this compact is sure to be one of your favorite pieces. The compact measures approximately 3 inches x 2 1/4 inches. There's a "Made In France" hallmark on the outside bottom of the piece, as well as the number "11" stamped on the interior bottom of the compact. It has no missing stones or enamel, and no chips or cracks to the guilloche. The beveled mirror is surprisingly clear considering the age of this piece, with no silvering or cracks. It also comes with a handmade silk powder puff that has not been used.
